Once results are issued, the case will be closed. The company is unable to use results from a previous prenatal test for additional testing once results are issued. If clients require additional testing after results have been issued (for example, testing a second alleged father), we will need fresh samples from the mother and the father. In such cases, clients will need to purchase a new prenatal test at the price stipulated on the website.

The packaging and boxing we provide for our kit is purposely designed and has an Exempt Label for shipping of hazardous materials. You should encounter no problems sending your samples back to the laboratory. We also recommend sending the samples over as soon as possible after collection to minimize the delay in reaching the laboratory and potential degrading of the sample.

Fetal DNA is cleared from the maternal blood stream within a period of a few hours. There is thus no chance of misdiagnosis with our test due to this.

Yes, for an additional fee we can include the baby gender report to your prenatal paternity test. This additional service can be ordered on our website when ordering your prenatal test

If the probability that the alleged father’s DNA contains the genetic markers required of the biological father is greater than 99.9% when compared to random individuals, paternity is concluded. If the alleged father matches no better than an unrelated individual, paternity is excluded. Therefore the test is as conclusive as a standard post-birth paternity test.

It is important to note that due to genetic similarity between relatives, samples from all alleged fathers are required if alleged fathers are related to each other. This requirement applies to fathers who are distant relatives as well, such as members of a small tribe or ethnic group. In such cases any other potential fathers need to be tested. Not testing the second father in such cases can lead to an incorrect paternity inclusion. There is only a small charge of €150 for testing the second father to cover the administration and kit costs .

We also give clients the opportunity to pay a deposit of 50%. Once we have the deposit payment confirmed we will send out the kit. Payment balance is due once we receive the samples at the laboratory. Please note that we will not commence testing unless the client has paid the full amount

The only additional cost you will incur is the fee for the sample collection by a nurse or GP.

The cost of a non-invasive prenatal paternity in Ireland is €1200 for testing of one alleged father and mother. The cost includes postage of kit to the client, the kit, the return courier pouch to return your samples and laboratory analysis.

We offer a very short turnaround of just 7-10 working days from the receipt of the samples at the laboratory. Please keep in mind that issues such as incorrect sampling and missing documentation may result in delays in testing and issuing of results.

Blood samples need to be collected by someone who is qualified to do so. Typically, any nurse or phlebotomist / phlebotomy technician can collect the samples. You will be responsible for choosing your sampler; this could be your own GP or any private clinic.

We will provide you with a special kit which will contain everything needed to collect the blood samples. We provide within it medical blood collection tubes for the mother. The father's samples are to be collected using the mouth swabs provided. The instructions as well as all the forms to be filled out will be found inside your kit. Included in the kit is also a pre-paid DHL courier pouch to send your blood samples back to the laboratory for testing. This will ensure they arrive as swiftly as possible.

To be able to determine whether you can carry out a prenatal paternity test you first need to determine how many weeks pregnant you are. We can carry out the test commencing at the 9th week from conception (this means you will be in your 11th week of pregnancy, starting from the first day of your last menstrual period). .

Results can be delivered more quickly than with non-invasive paternity testing procedures and moreover, there is no chance of misdiagnosis due to miscarriages or previous pregnancies.
